I checked on the power supply yesterday.\u00a0 They expect to get it from the manufacturer today and will turn it around to ship to me as soon as they get it.\u00a0 That means I should be up and running on my primary machine by this weekend — I hope.<\/p>\n
Fortunately, the power supply was bad (it could have been a front panel switch, but once I stuck a meter in one of the power plugs inside the machine and got no measurement, the power supply was the most likely source of the problem — I did measure full power\u00a0available from\u00a0the plug going into the back of the machine).<\/p>\n
The only thing I can’t do from this laptop is log into Forward Motion.\u00a0 I’ve tried several browsers, yet I’m still foiled.\u00a0 Annoying, but not the end of the world.\u00a0 Something in the laptop setup prevents a login from taking.\u00a0 I’ve had this problem in the past and tried all the suggestions at FM to no avail.\u00a0 Most of the time, it’s no big deal, but now it’s annoying.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
