I&#8217;m driving to Birmingham bright and early in the morning to catch a Southwest flight to San Antonio.  After 39 years, hubby has decided to retire from teaching college level English.  This is good.  He has a ToDo list that will take him at least 40 years to finish, and then he&#8217;s promised to start on mine.  He&#8217;s holding a small dinner at our favorite restaurant (<a href=\"https:\/\/laposadadelrey.com\/\">La Posada del Rey<\/a>, if you were wondering) for a few special people.  I don&#8217;t want to miss it.  I&#8217;ll fly back to Alabama early Sunday morning.
