Justin, 27, was one of ten soldiers killed when the CH-47 Chinook helicopter he was riding in crashed in Kunar Province, east of Abad, Afghanistan, on May 5th.\u00a0 He was the older son of Pat O’Donohoe, whom I worked closely with in my last assignment.\u00a0 His father spoke of both of his sons frequently with well-deserved pride (his younger son, Kyle, is in Navy Flight School).\u00a0 In my experience, they are a close-knit family who well understand the dangers of military service.\u00a0 None of that makes it any easier when those dangers strike so close to home.\u00a0 Please keep the O’Donohoe family in your thoughts and prayers as they begin to live life without Justin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
