Finally made it back to Virginia. Bad weather in Atlanta, compounded by a long mechanical delay on my scheduled aircraft, rendered my efforts to leave San Antonio yesterday afternoon fruitless. Since they wanted to strand me in Atlanta very late last night, I elected to extend my leave one day (would have had to do that whether I was stranded in Atlanta or not–figured I had a better chance of enjoying it in SA), spend one more night at home, and fly out early this morning. Got to the VA house around 2:30 this afternoon, mowed the lawn, and dragged in my bag. For once, firing up the computer was not the first thing I did when I walked in the door.<\/p>\n
