Thirteen more people work for me today than worked for me yesterday. This is a good thing, because I was running out of clones. The bad thing? I’ll have more things I need clones for, so it’s a wash. In fact, it puts me further behind, because with these people, in addition to the regular things we still have to do, come new responsibilities we’re to make happen. At least they won’t keep popping in my office door with a pleading voice asking, “Do I work for you yet?” I did lose three people to another division, so it all balances out to me having a division of 28 now. (We, of course, are not using the term “division” in the same way the Army uses the term. Which, now that I think of it, is ironic, since my division is responsible for interoperability, and part of interoperability is establishing a common vocabulary.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
