No, I haven’t killed anyone today. I do, however, have the distinction of being my directorate’s worst putter. We had an afternoon of cooking out (burgers and dogs) and indoor putt putt golf today, and I racked up the highest score. (If I could only somehow reverse my golf and bowling scores…) My prize was a can of tennis balls (to switch to another sport) and $1 (my entry fee). Of course, my tennis game is far worse than my golf game, so this cracked me up.<\/p>\n
My division did win the “toughest hole” competition. And one of my guys came in second, so of seven awards, my office took three. The challenge was for each division to design 2 holes (we had a twelve hole course). The creativity exhibited was incredible. My guys had real water hazards and real sand traps.
