Bright and early tomorrow morning, I’ll be on the road again, leaving Virginia. PCS moves are always a good time to catch up with old friends along the way, and this one is no different. I’ll be stopping to visit with friends, then I’ll make a side trip to San Antonio before returning to Alabama at the end of next week. Hubby’s PC is giving him fits, and the new one we bought for him didn’t work out (we weren’t happy with what we got from Velocity Micro, so we returned it), so I don’t know if I’ll be able to log on from home or not, so don’t count on hearing from me. I’m unlikely to be doing any significant writing over the next couple weeks, so no great loss to you.<\/p>\n
Since realizing what a musical dinosaur I’ve become, I’ve been making a slight effort to update my musical repertoire over the last couple months. A few weeks ago, I picked up the new Killers album. It was OK–reminded me of Hootie and the Blowfish (enough so I plan to check if they’re reycled or not). Today, while waiting for carpet to dry, I picked up ColdPlay’s new CD. I’ll check it out on the road tomorrow. I also gave the truck a much needed bath. I also picked up Hitch<\/strong> on DVD–it looks like it might be fun (cashier said it was good). <\/p>\n Have a good couple of weeks. Be safe. Be well. Remember to do a few things I wouldn’t do.
