{"id":1101,"date":"2006-12-31T13:34:53","date_gmt":"2006-12-31T19:34:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mercuryranch.org\/blog\/2006\/12\/31\/2007-goals\/"},"modified":"2006-12-31T13:34:53","modified_gmt":"2006-12-31T19:34:53","slug":"2007-goals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jeanschara.com\/pmtoo\/2007-goals\/","title":{"rendered":"2007 Goals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>These have emerged from last month&#8217;s &#8220;sausage making efforts&#8221; as well as are carried over from last year &#8212; either because they worked or they need to work:<\/p>\n<p><u>Personal<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Seek to obtain the things money can&#8217;t buy that I desire (Self-acceptance; Positive approach to life; Play)<\/li>\n<li>Continue preparation for living with hubby<\/li>\n<li>Diet (Continue vegetarian lifestyle;Drink more water;Increase recipe repertoire)<\/li>\n<li>Exercise (Weight training; Aerobic improvement; More yoga)<\/li>\n<li>PhD application package<\/li>\n<li>Read widely<\/li>\n<li>Find house near the ranch<\/li>\n<li>Continue keeping my boss happy at work<\/li>\n<li>Keep getting rid of excess stuff around the house<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Writing<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finish <em>Threads &#038; Ties<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Finish One-Pass Revision of <em>30 Days to Regularity<\/em><\/li>\n<li>One-Pass Revision of <em>Threads &#038; Ties<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Write non-fiction e-book<\/li>\n<li>NaNo<\/li>\n<li>Continue researching agents<\/li>\n<li>Draft query letters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And a side note:  I still have an undercurrent of excitement for <em>Polar Bear on the Loose<\/em> &#8212; I&#8217;m getting new ideas to implement in the revision.  I&#8217;m not sure I&#8217;ll get to it this year, but it has grown to a trilogy with a capability to grow beyond that.
