The first day back at work after a week off is always tough.\u00a0 Especially when you know you’re going to retire in a little over a year.\u00a0 The desire for that time to fly is really, really strong.<\/p>\n
I have tons of work this week, and it’s showing no sign of slowing down.\u00a0 I had to leave on time to pick the “kids” up from the kennel tonight, but tomorrow night is going to be a late night.\u00a0 Wednesday night is our “morale building activity” (poker night has resumed), and I refuse to cancel it this week.\u00a0 The rest of the week, though, is likely to be a long one.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, it’s the NBA Finals.\u00a0 Why should I miss them?\u00a0 The work isn’t going anywhere?\u00a0 I may be rethinking this process…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
