My PA and I looked at my knee X-rays today. The machine that took this series of X-rays was phenomenal. And the digital clarity is astonishing. They took three views, and my PA was cringing and saying, “Ouch” at every angle. “This is disintegrating really bad” was one nearly direct quote. “Oh, and look at that!” was heard multiple times.<\/p>\n
He decided he didn’t need to do the hands-on exam. Of course, he can’t diagnose, but we all know it’s an advancing case of osteo-arthritis, and we’re trying a combination of a variant of Aleve and\u00a0 Extra-Strength Tylenol. The radiologist hasn’t read them yet, but the layman in me can see a whole lot, and my very experienced physician’s assistant saw way more in there than I did.<\/p>\n
