This month, we focus on Scroll VIII, which begins, “Today I multiply my value a hundredfold.” This scroll is about making the best use of our time and finding the best way to enhance our value to the world. We are compared to a grain of wheat with one difference. The grain of wheat cannot choose whether it is fed to swine, ground for bread, or planted to multiply. We humans have a choice. We were not born as food for swine. We were not born to be ground up and be food for others. We were born to multiply our value a hundredfold or more by planting ourselves in fertile soil and magnifying our gifts for the benefit of the world.<\/p>\n
