Suffice it to say sometimes I follow Dad, and this time I did. Mom and Dad were gone to two and a half days, and I found myself in an enforced solitude situation. With no food, water, or bathroom facilities.<\/p>\n<p>I tried all the possible exits, but they were blocked. I even got up on the dresser and considered if I could make it to the transom above the door. The geometry didn&#8217;t look right to me, so I got down. I didn&#8217;t know what was going on, but Mom and Dad acted like they were going somewhere before I got stuck in here. They didn&#8217;t round us up and put us all in crates, so I knew they weren&#8217;t going to be gone too long. I settled onto the bed to wait. And wait. And wait.<\/p>\n<p>They were only gone two days, but&#8230;this is embarrassing&#8230;my bladder gave out about the same time I heard them come home when I got up to wait for them to open the door. Dad came up, but it was too late. He understood. I dashed by him and went downstairs for a snack. I hope this doesn&#8217;t happen again.
