It’s been a week and a half since Lady broke her foot. Dr. Val was correct when she said Lady wouldn’t need more pain medication. On Wednesday, I began letting her out of the cage to take a brief walk. On Wednesday, Lady limped pronouncedly. On Thursday, her limp was a little less pronounced. On Friday, she limped but also jumped up onto the trunk and tried to get into the window (where Rossie was sitting). I picked Lady up and put her back in the cage. Today, she didn’t come out right way, but she did come out and got some chin rubs. Mr. L put her in my lap, and I brushed her. She liked that. I put her back down, she limped around, and after a few minutes, she put herself back in the cage.\u00a0 Her foot looks good, but it’s still pretty sensitive.
