The ninth day asks me to discuss something I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m proud of in the past few days.<\/p>\n
I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m proud of how our Createslate group has come together over the past year in supporting not only our writing, but more than that, our daily living (well, more weekly, because that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s what our group blog has evolved into \u00e2\u20ac\u201d a weekly update on how the last week has gone for us as we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve worked toward our goals).<\/p>\n
I was skeptical when my friend Stephen proposed it, but I am so thankful he approached me \u00e2\u20ac\u201d and the others in our group \u00e2\u20ac\u201d to begin this venture together. 2012 is looking like a better year because of the growth we experienced over the past year together.<\/p>\n
I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m proud of how well my husband has done with what are impossible dietary guidelines after he had a stent installed last summer. He has made a herculean effort to make reasonable changes. There is no way to truly do a low-fat, low sodium, low cholesterol, low liquid diet, but he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s found a bizarre balance. It isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t the way I would have done it, but it works for him. So many people won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t even try, and he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s done a remarkable job in a very frustrating situation.<\/p>\n
