Every once inawhile I see an ad for a book on television.\u00a0 I’ve also heard book advertising on Glenn Beck<\/a>‘s radio program.\u00a0 In fact, I think I’ve heard him advertising three books at a time lately.\u00a0 Out of curiousity, I checked his website, and, if you scroll to the bottom of the page, he has links to the books featured on the show.<\/p>\n

Have you ever bought a book you’ve seen advertised on TV, radio, or in a newspaper?\u00a0 Why or why not?\u00a0 In my case, I believe the challenge (especially for TV or radio) is remembering the title long enough to get somewhere where you can obtain it.<\/p>\n

Of the three primary conservative talk radio hosts, Mr. Beck is the one that takes the most getting used to.\u00a0 His sarcasm is an acquired taste, but I have to give him credit for advertising books on his show.<\/p>\n

While writing this post, I got curious, and checked a few other places.\u00a0 Rush Limbaugh has a page on his site for the library where he posts links to books he likes<\/a>.\u00a0 Sean Hannity has a book club.\u00a0 Of course, I think the original celebrity book club may have been Oprah’s.<\/p>\n

Who else who has the public ear can you think of who recommends books?<\/p>\n
