Met today’s word count goal and will get more words tonight.\u00a0 NaNo on track.\u00a0 I’m doing a lousy job with the story, and I think it could be so much better.\u00a0 I’d rather have a stronger first draft, but I just read the How to Think Sideways lesson about fixing your story on the fly, so I’m going to attempt to do a little of that as I go.\u00a0 One of the nice things about yWriter is the opportunity to make scene notes.\u00a0 I can, when I know I’m screwing something up, make a quick note and keep right on working.<\/p>\n
This is a useful tool.\u00a0 I don’t feel as if I’m making great strides in improvement as I work with Sideways and my writing, but I can sense incremental improvement.\u00a0 At least that’s progress in the right direction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
