I’m going to be scarce for the next few weeks.\u00a0 I’ll be playing chauffeur on the Great Northeast Adventure.\u00a0 No.\u00a0 No.\u00a0 It’s not that bad.\u00a0 Hubby is programming things I want to do as well.\u00a0 I’m going to try to catch up with a few friends — old and new — on part of the trip.<\/p>\n
Other than driving and having loud arguments<\/span> long discussions with hubby, I have several things on my to do list.\u00a0 I have a book to read and review for Library Thing.\u00a0 I am reading and thoroughly enjoying Atlas Shrugged<\/em> by Ayn Rand.\u00a0 I still have a few category romances to read in preparation for NaNoWriMo in November.\u00a0 And, speaking of category romances, I have to finish planning the one I’ll be writing for NaNoWriMo.\u00a0 And I’m reading several non-fiction books on The Gilded Age.<\/p>\n Concerned about the state of the world today?\u00a0 It all began moving in this direction after Reconstruction and as a result of the excesses of The Gilded Age.\u00a0 That ushered in The Age of Progressivism, which liberals are still attempting to implement — it’s a very patient group, but I think they’re not so patient these days.\u00a0 That, in a nutshell, is what I’ve been reading about and finding extremely interesting.<\/p>\n I’ll try to stop in periodically from the road.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Something.
