The NaNo validator was working just fine and on schedule this morning.\u00a0 It validated Somethings’ Fishy<\/em> at 50,752 words.\u00a0 My NaNoWriMo for 2009 is officially complete.<\/p>\n

It’s an ugly, ugly novel.\u00a0 I could show it to anything you wanted to scare to death, and you’d be planning a funeral.\u00a0 That’s how bad it is.<\/p>\n

But, hey, Holly’s How To Revise Your Novel is getting ready to open.\u00a0 You have until Thursday (that’s tomorrow) to request your early bird link.\u00a0 She’s closing Thursday, because on Friday, she’s sending out the link for all registered early birds.\u00a0 She’s opening sign up (very briefly) at 12:01 AM Eastern Time on Monday morning (or Sunday night if you prefer to think of it that way) for a small initial Early Bird class offering.\u00a0 The main class will debut in January, 2010, so if you don’t make this class, don’t worry.\u00a0 You’ll have another opportunity in January when the main class goes live (and it should have any bugs and typos worked out by then, too, so that’s a bonus).<\/p>\n
