My Bloglines reads are piling up again.\u00a0 I read certain ones but am letting others sit.\u00a0 My Lexulous and Scrabble games are staying current.\u00a0 I need to finish Week 4 of HTRYN.\u00a0 There’s a lot of stuff going on.<\/p>\n
The roof installation is complete at the shop.\u00a0 Hubby and I got the invoice yesterday, so we drove to the credit union at the next town over and cleaned out the account to pay for it.\u00a0 We had lunch to celebrate.<\/p>\n
We moved the Woodie body to the shop yesterday.\u00a0 That opened up the middle bay of the garage.\u00a0 We moved the chipper\/shredder over there, and hubby’s installing the new blades (the old blades are still pretty sharp, but we had to replace some significant plastic parts, and while we’re doing that, it seemed like a good time to replace the blades.\u00a0 We’ll sharpen the original ones and have them ready as spares.<\/p>\n
Did I mention we moved the piano from the trailer to the living room?\u00a0 No?\u00a0 Well, we did.\u00a0 Next we need to load to clawfoot bathtubs into the trailer in preparation for taking them to the architectural antique place in Gonzalez, TX, to see if we can match any of their clawfoot tub feet to our tubs.<\/p>\n
I got most of the household shredding done today.\u00a0 One more box of stuff to do.\u00a0 Five eight-gallon trash bags of shredded paper will go out with the trash tomorrow (no recycling in this town).\u00a0 The shredder overheated, and I needed to let it cool down, and I didn’t get back to it to finish the job today.<\/p>\n
I also rebuilt the second toilet yesterday.\u00a0 While doing that, I discovered the water shut off valve from the wall couldn’t shut off, so I had to replace that.\u00a0 I’m not as pleased with the end result on this job as I am with the one hubby did a few months ago.\u00a0 He says this toilet brand isn’t as good as the other one, and that seems to impact it, but at least it isn’t running all the time.\u00a0 I have two dripping outside faucets to replace, so I’ll get that done in the next few days, I think.<\/p>\n
This is my favorite time of year in Texas.\u00a0 Temperatures are very comfortable, and I love working outside.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
