I’ve been conversing off and on with author Shannon Stacey via Twitter, Facebook, and her blog for some time now.\u00a0 I’m familiar with her Devlin Group series (have enjoyed it).\u00a0 Exclusively Yours<\/em> is a new release from Carina Press.\u00a0 You can read more about it on Shannon’s Blog (and get a sample chapter) here.<\/p>\n

Keri Daniels and reclusive author Joe Kowalski were an item in high school.\u00a0 Keri hadn’t mentioned this to her editor.\u00a0 She works for a Hollywood gossip magazine, and Keri’s editor has been dying to get dirt on Joe Kowalski.\u00a0 When she finds out Keri had a prior intimate relationship with Joe, she sends Keri to New Hampshire to get the dirt or else.<\/p>\n

Joe gets word Keri’s back in town and gets wind of what she needs.\u00a0 He concocts a deal that started out as a joke, but Keri took him up on it.\u00a0 Keri gets to ask one question for every day she survives on a vacation with his family.\u00a0 Both feel the old flame, but how could it ever work out?<\/p>\n

I laughed, I cried, I couldn’t put this book down.\u00a0 Shannon pulled off conveying the characters’ desire for one another without it seeming hokey.\u00a0 She wrote the ending in a such a way that (even thought it HAS to be a Happily Ever After) there was some doubt about what Keri would do to get her story.\u00a0 I loved this book, and you might to.\u00a0 Give it a try.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
