Apple’s App Store for Macs opened today.\u00a0 I downloaded the OS update that installed the App Store.\u00a0 I wandered around.\u00a0 I downloaded the free Evernote app for both the Mac and iPad.\u00a0 I haven’t tried this app before, but I figure it’s worth a look.<\/p>\n
The only thing I’m not sure about is whether the Apps, iWork and iLife, for instance, will work like they do on the iPad — if you have the same account set up on all your machines (supposedly — only have one iPad and no iPhones or iPod Touches) you can install any of your apps on any or all of your machines.\u00a0 If this is true for App Store apps for the Mac, that would be ok.\u00a0 If not, then I miss having the Family Pack licensing scheme.\u00a0 I haven’t looked into this yet.\u00a0 The App Store is still brand new, and I’m not that familiar with it yet.\u00a0 On the other hand, if I only have to buy once and get it on all my machines, that’s a good deal.<\/p>\n
