{"id":319,"date":"2006-01-07T19:17:20","date_gmt":"2006-01-08T01:17:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mercuryranch.org\/blog\/2006\/01\/07\/major-malaise\/"},"modified":"2006-01-07T19:17:20","modified_gmt":"2006-01-08T01:17:20","slug":"major-malaise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jeanschara.com\/pmtoo\/major-malaise\/","title":{"rendered":"Major Malaise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Is it just me, or does there seem to be a major infestation of malaise running through my <a href=\"http:\/\/jakonrath.blogspot.com\/2006\/01\/is-blogging-incestuous.html\">&#8220;incestuous<\/a> blog circle?&#8221; I won&#8217;t presume to speak for others, but I&#8217;ve not exactly hit the new year running. For the first time this year, seven days into it, I opened the file on my WIP. I&#8217;ve done no other formal writing. I&#8217;ve done a few writing-related activities, but nothing I&#8217;d crow about. I know what I need and want to do. I just seem to be slowly spinning my wheels, making ice in the ruts beneath them. If it were only my writing work, that would be one thing, but I&#8217;m in the same mode at work. And I don&#8217;t seem to be alone there either.<\/p>\n<p>What am I doing right? I&#8217;m reading. I&#8217;m working out. I&#8217;m still eating right.
