I&#8217;m up to page 105, but I haven&#8217;t tackled the scenes requiring lots of work yet. I have cut thousands of words of extraneous sex. It was fun to write, but when I found myself asking, &#8220;Why is this needed?&#8221; I didn&#8217;t have an answer, so the red pen slashed it. Sorry, Carter. I suppose I could make a CD of deleted scenes&#8230;(would this be a worthwhile marketing ploy?)<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve goofed around long enough.  I&#8217;m doing a mini-NaNo between now and March 27th to get the next 55k written on <em>Threads &#038; Ties<\/em>.  I&#8217;m going to approach it just like NaNo, too.
