Today’s post is about hands.\u00a0 I was sorely tempted to link to yesterday’s post, because after I chose it, I realized it could have worked for today as well.\u00a0 But that would be boring or cheating or something like that.\u00a0 Instead, I’m going with the cutest pair of hands I’ve seen in a long time.<\/p>\n

\"Lady's<\/p>\n

Yes.\u00a0 Lady.\u00a0 Again.\u00a0 She has always crossed her paws like this, and it never fails to start my, “Aw, isn’t she cute” response.\u00a0 I’m sure she knows this and uses it shamelessly to her full advantage.\u00a0 It helps to mask the purely sinister look her eyes always seem to have.<\/p>\n

While being very mild-mannered with humans, the life of a bug in her sights is measured in nanoseconds.\u00a0 She is a fierce hunter who would thrive in an outdoor environment. Or, so she tells us on a regular basis when asking to go outside.<\/p>\n

When we’re in San Antonio, I can pick up the key to the back door so quietly I can’t hear myself do it, but wherever Lady is in the house,\u00a0 I hear a nearly instantaneous thump followed by her being at the door before I can open it.\u00a0 You’ve seen the Rescue Puma commercial from GEICO?\u00a0 Lady is that puma.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
