{"id":515,"date":"2012-04-05T00:48:29","date_gmt":"2012-04-05T05:48:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jeanschara.com\/?p=515"},"modified":"2012-04-05T00:48:29","modified_gmt":"2012-04-05T05:48:29","slug":"e-is-for-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jeanschara.com\/pmtoo\/e-is-for-education\/","title":{"rendered":"E is for Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Education comes in many flavors.\u00a0 I suspect most people think of elementary, junior high, and high school education, perhaps followed by college.\u00a0 What&#8217;s commonly called &#8220;formal education.&#8221;\u00a0 Technical training fills a questionable area, because most purists believe there&#8217;s a difference between training and education.\u00a0 With my advanced degree in Adult Education, there&#8217;s a whole range of discussion that can take place with just those two words.<\/p>\n<p>There are a lot of educational philosophies, and each one has some merit, if used in the right situation.\u00a0 Because of that, I espouse an eclectic approach to educational philosophy.
