My parents bought a house (yay!), so I’m heading north to help them move this week.\u00a0 I leave tomorrow and should get there Tuesday evening.\u00a0 I’m looking forward to the road trip but am, of course, hoping the roads between Texas and Wisconsin are clear.\u00a0 (It seems like they are and they will be — at least for the trip up.)<\/p>\n
Just in case, I have my winter survival kit with me, and key aspects of it will be in the truck with me, not in the trailer I’m hauling behind to help with the move.\u00a0 Yes, people have asked if it wouldn’t be cheaper to rent a trailer up there, but by my calculations, it isn’t.\u00a0 And our trailer is two feet longer and at least a foot wider than any I could rent, so it should result in a few fewer trips between houses.<\/p>\n
Hubby is looking forward to the work he can get done while I’m gone.\u00a0\u00a0 I think the cats might miss me, but I’m probably mistaken about that.\u00a0 In case you’re wondering where I am, I anticipate doing a lot of driving and box moving for the next two weeks.\u00a0 I’ll stop in when I can.\u00a0 Have fun.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
