It’s winter cleanup for the yard. That means, in part, cleaning around the base of the crepe myrtles. The one on the right has been trimmed. The one on the left needs to be trimmed. This is the third or fourth year I’ve been doing this, and each year gets easier. Instill need to rake leaves from the bases, and I’m going to remove some canes that aren’t in the right place on the one on the right. Because of that, I’ve left two suckers that are better positioned to grow and replace the two I’m going to cut off.<\/p>\n
