Hard to believe I’m not sure what to say about cats today.\u00a0 Rossie and Ajax are returning from their three week sojourn to San Antonio today.\u00a0 Rossie’s socialization showed small progresses but nothing particularly ground breaking.\u00a0 We’ll see how badly she reverts to the mean when she returns to the Central Texas house where she can hide more easily.<\/p>\n
Sneaky really likes her attention and is mostly pretty good at limiting teeth and claws.\u00a0 I did something she wasn’t happy about last night and she wrapped her jaws around my wrist briefly.\u00a0 Every once in a while she’ll let loose with a claw swat, but those times are fewer and fewer.\u00a0 She head butts a lot.\u00a0 She leans into her ear rubs.\u00a0 She’ll have a grooming session on the bottom step while I’m sitting on the top step.\u00a0 She wants interaction, but we’re not totally relaxed together yet despite making really good progress.<\/p>\n
Lady is still very jealous of the other cats.\u00a0 She goes after them for beat-downs on a regular basis.\u00a0 It’s usually hit-and-run, and the kittens take it in stride, showing proper deference to Lady.<\/p>\n
I haven’t seen the cat I call Mooch for two days.<\/p>\n
