Kitten doesn’t have a name yet.\u00a0 Mr L is avoiding handling her while she’s in quarantine, because he rubs his eyes a lot, and he’s afraid he’s going to handle the kitten, forget to wash his hands, rub his eyes, and get ringworm in his eyes.\u00a0 A valid concern.\u00a0 He’s researching appropriate names for her, though.<\/p>\n
Kitten is a cuddler.\u00a0 She’s also a talker.\u00a0 She’s being treated with Lamisil for the ringworm.\u00a0 I’m not seeing a significant improvement, but it’s not getting any worse.\u00a0 She was 2.04 pounds on Monday during her initial checkup.\u00a0 I brought her back in on Friday for a re-check for sneezing\/coughing.\u00a0 Dr. Val could find nothing wrong but suggested liquid Benadryl Allergy.\u00a0 That seems to have helped (even though it makes her “foam at the mouth like she’s rabid.”), because I didn’t hear her sneeze once on the trip down from Central TX to San Antonio.
