Kitten has been named Daphne. Of Apollo and Daphne fame from Bullfinch’s Mythology. She’s a wonderful little cat.\u00a0 Well-mannered, friendly to feline and human alike.\u00a0 Outgoing.\u00a0 Lady is baffled and fascinated by her.\u00a0 She has supervised run of the kitchen and parlor for much of the day.\u00a0 Floyd lays down to play with her at her level.\u00a0 Natasha hisses at her, and she respects that.\u00a0 Natasha, at twelve, isn’t interested in kitten antics, and she’s not shy about saying so.\u00a0 At night, she’s in the crate for her protection.<\/p>\n

As you can see, she willingly climbs (which may be a challenge).\u00a0 Floyd (on the left) is playing with her.\u00a0 Lady (on the right) is looking, well, I’ll generously say she’s looking curious.<\/p>\n

We had thought she might be chocolate snowshoe Siamese, but upon reflection, we’re thinking more lilac snowshoe Siamese.\u00a0 Either way, she’s a pretty kitty.<\/p>\n

Monday, she goes for a checkup and second set of kitten shots.\u00a0 She seems to be fitting in well with everyone.<\/p>\n
