Hasn’t the year just flown by?\u00a0 There’s so much that needs to be done, but we just haven’t been getting to it.\u00a0 Here’s where things stand for December for the properties:<\/p>\n
The San Antonio house: The yard is ready for winter.\u00a0 Property taxes are paid.<\/p>\n
The Central Texas house: The yard is mostly ready for winter. Got some decluttering done — not a lot, but every little bit helps.\u00a0 Half the property taxes are paid.\u00a0 We’ll pay the rest in January, but by paying half before November 30, we have until June 30 to pay the balance without any extra fees.\u00a0 We do that “just in case.”<\/p>\n
The Shop:\u00a0 Mr. L got some sealing work done on the middle downspout.\u00a0 That seems to have taken care of the leaking problem.\u00a0 We’re not absolutely certain yet.\u00a0 We’ve had rain but not a heavy downpour that would tax the system.\u00a0 We’re cautiously optimistic that he’ll be able to continue with the next step soon, and the problem with water sheeting down the inside of the back wall by that downspout may be behind us.<\/p>\n
The Store: Nothing done this month.<\/p>\n
