It’s been a slow month for getting things done.\u00a0 Here goes:<\/p>\n
The San Antonio House: Verified that the latest plumbing fix is effective.\u00a0 Continued work on building the support structure to remount the commode.\u00a0 It’s working as is, but this will be considered a maintenance fix to ensure it’s in good shape when we’re ready to sell the house.\u00a0 I cleaned out under the sink.\u00a0 I’d been afraid to go in under there for about twenty years.\u00a0 It wasn’t quite as bad as I feared.\u00a0 The chupacabra (mythical Texas monster) remained hidden and didn’t devour me.<\/p>\n
The Ranch: Nada.\u00a0 We still need to take the chain saw and other tree cutting paraphernalia out there to cut up the tree that’s resting on top of the motor home.<\/p>\n
The store:\u00a0 The water main is still broken.\u00a0 We haven’t been over there.<\/p>\n
The shop:\u00a0 We cleared the right half of the showroom in preparation for Mr. L cleaning and painting the ceiling.\u00a0 We set up scaffolding at the back drain pipe area, and he’d continuing the sealing work back there.<\/p>\n
The Cameron house:\u00a0 I’ve found two things I’ve been seeking for more than a year during routine decluttering tasks.\u00a0 Pretty exciting.\u00a0 I turned the compost pile. Routine stuff.\u00a0 Nothing much here.<\/p>\n
Mr. L mentioned we need to begin work on an awning project at the shop.\u00a0 Of course, we need to make boards for the house. There are the ongoing projects at the shop — downspout, ceiling painting, Jeep transmission, etc, and general clean up.\u00a0 He hates plumbing, so I’m sure he’s procrastinating on the store water problem — probably still turning the project in his head to decide how he wants to engineer the fix.\u00a0 I, of course, need to get to work on the winter tree clean up.\u00a0 This is the best time of year to do it.<\/p>\n
