Welcome to February on the Merry Go Round Blog Tour — good to see you here.\u00a0 This month’s topic is villains.\u00a0 You have to have one, or there’s not a story to tell.\u00a0 The villain I’m talking about this month is a nasty one — it has a prominent place in all our lives.<\/p>\n
What or who could it be?\u00a0 Ideas?\u00a0 I’ll wait.<\/p>\n
Time.\u00a0 Time will eventually take it’s toll on all of us.\u00a0 It’s the ultimate villain — both in the short-term and in the long-term.\u00a0 Short term, we find ourselves procrastinating and not getting some things done we really want or need to get done.\u00a0 Long-term, it all adds up to thwarting our achievement of our dreams.\u00a0 Or, we’re particularly focused on achieving our dreams and forget our family and friends are important to us too, and our relationships with them suffer.<\/p>\n
Finding that balance where we’re achieving what’s really important to us in our lives and those of the people we love is the ultimate story as we tackle the villain common to all of us. Although the villain is common, each story is a little different.<\/p>\n
