{"id":7150,"date":"2014-04-17T01:04:40","date_gmt":"2014-04-17T06:04:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polarbear60.org\/randr\/?p=7150"},"modified":"2016-08-14T19:08:43","modified_gmt":"2016-08-15T00:08:43","slug":"april-property-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jeanschara.com\/pmtoo\/april-property-update\/","title":{"rendered":"April Property Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>April has brought mildly better weather, and with that, Mr. L and I have been busy.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s what we&#8217;ve been working on:<\/p>\n<p>The San Antonio House:\u00a0 We haven&#8217;t been there to do anything.<\/p>\n<p>The Ranch:\u00a0 Mr. L and I took a ride out to the ranch to survey conditions.\u00a0 While he was taking a walkabout, I trimmed small branches off trees that fell and need to be removed.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12420\" src=\"https:\/\/pmtoo.jeanschara.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/2014-03-31-12.02.39-2-e1471219563866.jpg\" alt=\"fallen trees\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The hayfield is looking good (taken from outside the front gate):<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12419\" src=\"https:\/\/pmtoo.jeanschara.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/2014-03-31-11.25.09-2-e1471219604373.jpg\" alt=\"hayfield from front gate\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Store:\u00a0 Mr. L sorted through some things over there, but nothing this month. I need to get over to mow.<\/p>\n<p>The Shop:\u00a0 The shop has benefited the most from our efforts this month.\u00a0 We had a yard sale the first weekend of the month, and a lot of things we&#8217;ve been wanting to be gone found new homes.\u00a0 Not nearly enough, but it&#8217;s a start.\u00a0 We made two trips to the dump for the City-Wide Clean Up (one day per year, the city does not charge to utilize this service).\u00a0 A significant portion of the absolute, no doubt about it, junk furniture we haven&#8217;t been able to dispose of yet is gone, mostly dressers.\u00a0 The last two years, we focused on mattresses for the cleanup day.\u00a0 This year, it&#8217;s unsalvageable furniture.\u00a0 The staging area for the first load is depicted below:<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12422\" src=\"https:\/\/pmtoo.jeanschara.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/2014-04-07-14.28.39-2-e1471219649948.jpg\" alt=\"junk furniture and rugs\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That pile is the dressers that were downstairs in the space depicted below.\u00a0 But wait!\u00a0 There&#8217;s more&#8211;mostly upstairs.
