I brought my five back with me from San Antonio yesterday, and Mr. L had his four here.\u00a0 Everyone seemed fine.\u00a0 We were going to leave Lady out overnight, because she’s been very mellow lately, but I stood up from working on the puzzle around 8:30 pm and walked into the parlor.\u00a0 Lady followed me.\u00a0 As if she knew what was coming, so, not wanting to disrupt her routine, I grabbed the water bowl from the cage and fixed her a fresh bowl of water and got a treat from the treat bag and put the fresh water bowl and the treat in the cage, and she happily stepped into the cage.<\/p>\n
Later in the evening, Mr. L called down from upstairs that Rossie was growling at Tarzan.\u00a0 When Tarzan came downstairs later, I tucked him into the cage with Lady for the evening.\u00a0 Rossie had a quiet evening after that.<\/p>\n
Outside, Sneaky wasn’t responding to my calls.\u00a0 Shortly before I was going to head up to bed, I began to wonder if she’d gotten trapped in the garage at some time.\u00a0 I went outside and put a fresh bowl of water in the garage just in case.\u00a0 After I shut the door, I called for her one last time, I saw her watching me from the heat pump ductwork, so\u00a0 I said hello and wished her a good night, relieved to see that she was fine.<\/p>\n
We spent the day down in Conroe (by Houston) for a swap meet and browsing.\u00a0 I let Lady and Tarzan out of the cage before we left, and when we returned this evening, things seem to have been quiet.<\/p>\n
When we were in San Antonio, most of the cats slept with me, and everyone got along quite well.\u00a0 Lady and Natasha helped me mow the back yard on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Mr. L reports he was able to sit reasonably close to Moose this week, and he actively demonstrated petting Sneaky in an effort to help Moose understand it’s okay to let humans touch him.\u00a0 So far, he’s not buying that theory.<\/p>\n
Apparently, Rossie spent a little time downstairs on Wednesday.\u00a0 Ruby and Rossie got their Revolution applied, but they were not happy about it.<\/p>\n
Everyone is doing well. We’re giving some consideration to who gets to make the trip to San Antonio next week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
