{"id":7421,"date":"2014-08-23T11:36:05","date_gmt":"2014-08-23T16:36:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polarbear60.org\/randr\/?p=7421"},"modified":"2016-02-11T14:47:06","modified_gmt":"2016-02-11T20:47:06","slug":"cats-mostly-business-as-usual","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jeanschara.com\/pmtoo\/cats-mostly-business-as-usual\/","title":{"rendered":"Cats: Mostly Business as Usual"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Not much news for the cats this week.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve started weaning Lady from the Reconcile.\u00a0 That will take about six weeks.\u00a0 We keep the curtain on the side porch door open during the day so Walter can see in when he comes up to the feeder to each.\u00a0 When we see him, we wave and call, &#8220;Hi, Walter.&#8221; The first few times we did this, he ran.\u00a0 Now he watches us and returns to eating.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve also decided that when I call for Sneaky under the house, I&#8217;m also going to call for Walter.\u00a0 He&#8217;s usually under there, so I&#8217;m hoping he&#8217;ll see what Sneaky does when we call for her and learn to do the same.<\/p>\n<p>Sneaky has been more willing to let us pet her and pick her up at various places on the property lately.
