At one time, I had an interest in golf.\u00a0 When I was around 12 or 13, I bought a set of clubs from Gibson’s Discount Store for about $30.\u00a0 I still have those clubs to this day (1 wood, 3 wood, 3,5,7,and 9 irons and putter).\u00a0 I’ve played golf about once every ten years or so, and I suspect that time will extend even more since my knees are so poor and my husband has no interest in golf.<\/p>\n
Back in the early 90s, I had a part time job which began at the Fort Meade Bowling alley.\u00a0 I worked the snack bar, then the checkout desk for shoes and lanes, then I moved to the back to become a pinsetter\/mechanic.\u00a0 They closed the bowling alley for renovations, and I moved to the golf course snack bar for my part time job.\u00a0 I worked less than 20 hours a week to supplement my Air Force pay so I didn’t need a room mate.\u00a0 It worked out well.
