After crunching out 581 words yesterday, I achieved 2,272 today to get me into the swing of things. That brings me to a total count of 75,329. 75% complete on the first draft.

As long as I’m writing, I’m not thinking about how terrible it is. I’ll just keep that up until I finish it. Then I can read it and decide for myself what’s terrible and what has merit. Some words will have some merit. I’m reasonably confident of that. I’m also quite sure many do not. Oh well.
