- The Miniature Golf Course Murders, Sara Penhallow. **** (A fun cozy mystery series)
- Twisted Roads, Travis Erwin. *** (Quite a few copy editing errors, truly unlikable characters)
- A Brave New World, Aldous Huxley. *** 1/2 (A classic I needed to read, but…the coolest feature was he has the Osprey–the modern military’s vertical takeoff/landing plane–in use then.)
- A Death in Vienna, Daniel Silva **** 1/2 (A thriller based on a Nazi war criminal still on the loose and operating)
- The Nazi Officer’s Wife: How One Jewish Woman Survived the Holocaust, Edith Hahn Beer. **** (An inside account encompassing one person’s view from the inside of this horrible time in history.)
- Wild Mint Tea, Valerie Comer. **** 1/2 (The second in Valerie’s Farm Fresh Trilogy, and it’s every bit as good as the first.)
- Taken With You, Shannon Stacey. **** 1/2 (You cannot go wrong with the Kowalski’s series.)
- Turning PRO, Steven Pressfield. **** (This gave me a lot to think about, and I understand why a friend recommended I read it.)
- Enter the Death Circus: Tales from the Longview, Episode 1, Holly Lisle **** (I wasn’t wild about the opening, but I came back later and gave it another chance. Glad I did.)
- Deadly Decor, Karen Rose Smith ***1/2 (I’m really enjoying this series.)
- Majai’s Fury, Valerie Comer. **** 1/2 (Every bit as good as Valerie’s Farm Fresh Romance series but very different.)
- Grounded, Angela Correll **** (I really enjoyed this first time novelist’s story)
- Farmcall Fatality, Abby Deuel ** (I really wanted to be able to recommend this book, because the author is supporting a cause with the proceeds that are near and dear to my heart, but this first novel needed a lot more polishing before publishing.)
- Falling for Max, Shannon Stacey **** 1/2 (You cannot go wrong with Shannon Stacey’s Kowalskis.)
- The Selling of Suzee Delight, Holly Lisle **** 1/2 (An unusual story)
- You Can Get There from Here, Sally Jane Driscoll **** (A surprising collection of stories that keep you thinking.)

- No Place to Hide, Shannon Stacey **** (This Devlin Group thriller isn’t quite as good as the Kowalski’s, but it’s close)
- The Selling of Suzee Delight, Holly Lisle ***** (The curiosity grows)
- The Dwarf and the Twins, Katharina Gerlach ***** (I liked this version better than the original — also included in the story)
- Snowflake Tiara, Angela Breidenback and Valerie Comer ***** (Very well done)
- Waltz Back to Texas, MJ Fredrick *** (Calling an airman a soldier detracted for me, but many people won’t let that bother them)
- The Illuminated Heart, Thea van Diepen ***** (I expected zombies and got faith and hope. Awesome!)
