Progressing nicely, I think. Tweaking here and there. There are some decent dialog passages. I finished at the point where I had a comment to myself that as a reader, I’d be screaming at the bear to get mad, so I’ll have to see about that. I added a section early this morning that demonstrates what the bear can do when she isn’t so nice, but she’s been good since then. Not sure if it effectively captures what she does when she’s not so nice. You know how that is–what you see in your head tends to lose something in translation to the written word.

The knee does not require much medication, but it makes itself quite clear when it’s time for more. For instance, fifteen minutes from now, my next dosage is due. Yes, I noticed the clock. Thank you, now go away. Really. These things can be worse than kids. I have my post-op visit tomorrow morning. Looking forward to seeing the doc’s handiwork first hand without having to guess through the bandage.
