Making nice progress on PBOTL. Holly and I sprinted to get work done before I had to leave for my post op appointment this morning. I have to sit in on a teleconference for work this afternoon, so I might not get much more done today.
The knee is doing great (in my eyes). Two small incisions held closed with that clear hospital-type strapping tape. Doc says I can shower and pat the knee dry. The tape will eventually fall off on its own. But the poor man was so disappointed in my knee. The poor guy so wanted to make my knee good, but it is riddled with arthritis, something I knew, and the MRI confirmed. When I pointed this out, he said he always hopes the MRI is wrong and he’ll see something better when he gets inside. He showed me the pictures. In case you don’t know, the part of your knee that’s inside the skin is supposed to be smooth. Mine makes ’70’s shag carpeting look close-cropped. In about 15 years, I’ll be one miserable puppy.
