I finished the read-through. I like more of it than I hate of it–a lot more of it. I’m doing the easy revision parts while I mull over what to do with the parts I believe I need to change (hence the count above). I changed the beginning a bit. I’m going to scrub the sleaze to only what is needed for the story and the characters. For some people, that will still be too much. For me, to a certain extent, I need to “get over it” and to another extent, I need to tone some things down.

I like the interplay I got in most situations, though, so the characters, for the most part, are live for me. They have endearing qualities, flaws, issues, and some are quite earthy, but it fits their environment. I see some things that are better than PBOTL. I need to find someone to do a technical review for plausibility for my cyber-stuff. At the moment, I may have some options there. And finally, one of the things I need to do is all the usual clean-up work. I’m feeling better about it than I was a few days ago.
