Things are progressing nicely with Twilight. I couldn’t bring myself to put it down today, so I’ve worked on it for nearly 12 hours now–using my usual schizophrenic style of mixing housework with writing work. I accomplished more writing work than housework, but the dishes, laundry, and physical therapy exercises are done. I also have fewer unrated songs in RealPlayer. It will take awhile to wipe out the nearly 3000 unrated tunes I have, but it’s getting there. I re-sampled Clay Walker at a higher rate when I discovered a track “stuttering” at 96k. I also played with Studio MX a little. I love the program suite, but it’s kicking my tail at the moment.
You may note the total word count is decreasing. I expect that to continue as I delete and reword “objectionable” material. For those of you who like “objectionable” material, don’t worry. There’s plenty left.
I mentioned to hubby I might need him to do a read prior to public consumption. He’s of the school that “less is more” and prefers more subtle approaches. I suspect we’ll have some interesting discussions on what is appropriate content. But before he gets it, I have to finish this cut. I’ll probably print it before I head home in April and take it to him then. He’s grousing about having to print PBOTL, so I’ll save him the hassle for this one.
