As you can see, I’m not performing a clear-cut operation here. Mostly, I’m doing a little thinning. I cut a few words I really enjoyed tonight, but they don’t fit for the direction things need to go. I’m trying to take some of the bolder items and shift them to innuendo. Imagination is a wonderful thing, so for some of these things that are backstory, I’d prefer to let the reader fill in the blanks about what might really have been going on.
