Blog Updates
I read more blogs than I list. I decided to update a few, and I have a comment on one. You may have noticed “Blog Maverick” on my Blogroll. You may have thought, “How odd that a Spurs fan is linking to the controversial owner of the Dallas Maverick’s blog.” Or you may have skimmed right over it and paid it no mind. Mark Cuban blogs on an interesting array of topics, and he’s all over the map, from naked shorts (stock talk), to basketball, to tech stuff. Today’s entry talks about the Death of the Desktop PC. He’s usually interesting and thought-provoking.
As for today’s additions, I’ve been reading tamboblog for a long time. Can’t say why I haven’t linked it before today, but I’m long overdue to do so. I can’t wait for Tam’s next books to come out. Ghosts in the Snow was incredible. Besides, she lives in Iowa, and I love Iowans. Full Disclosure Statement: I’m a native Iowan, transplanted against my will to Eastern Ohio in 1975 (I adapted, got that, you-uns? And get that toboggan off your head; I want to ride it down the hill.). I became a naturalized Texan in December, 1983.
Lee Goldberg’s A Writer’s Life is a recent addition, and he has an interesting take on things.
The final addition is a new blog, but a familiar face around here–PBW has started a quilting blog, A Stitch In Time. I’m not a quilter. I don’t even play one on TV, but Sheila makes reading about preserving quilts fascinating stuff.
Need to catch up on your college slang? Check this site out. I haven’t added this to the list, but I found it while looking for something else.
