Firefox and IE
I’m becoming increasingly frustrated with Firefox. It’s probably me, but some of the problems I’m experiencing are:
Inability get into my website for admin without turning off ZoneAlarm. Oddly, it works fine with IE. ZoneAlarm, IE, and Firefox all put out updates at about the same time, and something got “broken.” But what? And how to fix? It’s bound to be something simple. It usually is.
Inability to login to Outlook Webmail.
Annoyed at the work required to configure it to work with Java–looks like too much hassle so I haven’t done it. Probably contributes to the other problems.
Those are the things that come to mind. Lots of people use and love Firefox. I liked it so much I made it my default browser, but I keep finding more things I need to use IE for. If it’s me, and it’s simple, let me know.
I’ve found that to be true fo Firefox. What it can do, it does very well. What it can’t do, it simply can’t do. I’m hoping that it will continue to improve and eventually have all the functionality of IE without IE’s security holes.
