Off to the Coast
I’ll be at the Coast all weekend helping my brother with his house. The plan is to rip out kitchen cabinets, replace sheetrock, clean kitchen cabinets (presuming they are salvageable), and replace same cabinets.
He’s trying to decide what to put in for new countertops. He doesn’t think he can get the original orange color. I told him not to be too sure–70s colors are coming back in to style. The silence on the other end of the line indicated that might not have been what he really wanted. *shrug* Big little brothers. What are ya’ gonna’ do?
lol!! Tell him if he can afford it, well-sealed granite is wonderful to work on. Well-sealed is important, though, because unsealed granite has pits that make it hard to keep clean. 🙂
