Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
It’s that time, again. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to each of you. May you have a joyous and prosperous New Year. I’ll be back on the 30th.
This is the week and a half each year when I get to pretend I have a life–just like real people. I go home to Texas and spend time with hubby in our home (not the place I rent and keep my stuff in here). Hershey gets to go home to see his beloved Dazzle and wrestle with Millie. Natasha, the newest family member gets to meet her new “sibs.” You know she’s looking forward to that.
I’ll do some work in the back yard–we have some trees that need to be taken out. We’ll assemble jigsaw puzzles. We’ll find an opportunity or two to bicker (yes, that’s part of real life). We’ll cook Christmas dinner. I’ll get a chance to get my fill of my favorite Mexican restaurant, and we’ll spend a very little time with friends.
I have numerous errands to run–fresh inspection on my vehicle, renew vehicle registration for two of three (the third one will arrive in the mail shortly after I return to Alabama), get a haircut, review my military records and renew hubby’s ID card (it expires in March, but I’m not likely to be back in town before then, and, last I heard, I need to be with him for him to get it renewed), and several other things I need to do while I’m in town. The time will pass far too quickly.
Merry Christmas Jean. I hope you and Alan and the four-legs have a great time together!
Merry Christmas to you and yours. Enjoy your time at home.
