T&T Progress
Been inching along. 566 words on Saturday, 491 words on Sunday, and 144 words today. The goal is *some* words each day. Total count: 53,255.
Work is busy, but that’s not a legitimate excuse for why I’m not writing at night and weekends. Not feeling great, but still not a valid excuse either. I have been doing a lot of reading, and that’s going very well. The writing will come. Visualizing the middle of the story is the key, and I’m coaxing it out of my brain. I know what’s happening, but translating it to words is another thing.
Someone, I forget who, said that every novel has a beginning, a muddle, and an end. I’m starting to believe that. I’m stuck in the muddle right now, too. If I get 250 words in a day, I’m happy. I have a good grip on “who” and “what”, but the “how” escapes me.
