Anemic?
Tess Gerritsen blogs about writer’s anemia. “Real anemia leaves you weak and exhausted and pale. Writer’s anemia is much the same — except that the pallor shows up on the page. Your writing loses all color. Your plot feels dead. Your characters wander through the story like ghosts of themselves.”
That’s what my writing–and to be honest, most of my life–has felt like this year. I’m going to work on some things for work that need to be taken care of. I’m going to do more editing on Twilight. I’m going to do yard work this weekend and revel in it. I’m going to get ready for hubby to visit, and we’re going to travel, and I’m going to immerse myself in the trip and the time together.
And, like Tess, I’ll keep the notepad handy. Just in case.
What a great comparison.
Have a great time with hubby 🙂
Isn’t Tess wonderful? And I’m pretty sure that’s my problem too. Have over drained the batteries.
After I turn this rotten book in, I’m sleeping for a month! lol
Have a great vacation, a great time, and RECHARGE!!!
